Transfer of practice | Dr. med. Ursus Lüthi

Dear patient,

After many interesting years as a surgeon and sports physician, the time has come for me to begin on a new chapter in life.

The past few years have seen me develop an ever increasing interest in regenerative possibilities in surgery and treatment of overuse injuries and osteoarthritis, and I will be moving on to serve patients using non-surgical treatment methods at the Centre for Regenerative Sports Medicine (FIRST), which is currently under construction.

We will be providing top-quality state-of-the-art care to patients at SportClinic Zurich on Tödistrasse 49, Zurich, with new regenerative treatment methods. Our main areas of activity will be illnesses and overuse injuries in the musculoskeletal system as well as non-surgical osteoarthritis treatment.
Prof. Dr. Matthias Steinwachs
will be taking over my surgical office at SportClinic Zurich Hirslanden; Prof. Steinwachs is a highly acclaimed and well-established specialist in cartilage and the knee. He will be pleased to continue treating you in the same way that I have been treating you so far.

Naturally, I will be performing all of the operations and follow-up care myself for appointments made up to now. Patients unable to arrange an appointment with Prof. Steinwachs will be transferred to the corresponding professionals in our surgery team, so our complete range of medical services will still be available to you.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your confidence in me. I am convinced that you and your health will remain in good hands with Prof. Steinwachs.

Best regards,
Dr. med. Ursus Lüthi
